I often hear from clients that the process of therapy (trauma treatment in particular) is very isolating. I am wondering if there might be thoughts from those either in the midst of the muck or who have completed their process as to what helped get you through it?
Other survivors. I find they are the only people who I relate to in a real sense. Not easy to find in real life because of the isolation. I've also found the on-line PTSD communities to be useful and much easier for me to find the right people. I would go to a trauma group if I knew of one.
